Ozgun was born in October 19, 1979 and raised in Eskisehir, Turkey. After completed elementary school in Eskisehir, he moved to Ankara, where he completed Hacettepe University State Conservatory. After graduation, Ozgun began to sing at the most important clubs of Ankara and became famous as a great entertainer there. In November 2005, he released his debut album, titled “Elveda”. This first album quickly transfers him to the first league of Turkish popsingers.

In October 2006, internationally well-known hearing foundation Starkey elected him as their voice in Turkey while Filiz Akin, top Turkish film star, is the face of them. He is the author of the song of Starkey in Turkey. He attended the world gala of Starkey in June 2007 and met many Hollywood stars like Goldie Hawn, Jay Leno, Leslie Nielsen in Minneapolis, USA who are supporting Starkey.

He won may important awards (nearly 50 awards) in 2006 and 2007 including Altin Kelebek (very important and traditional award since 1974) and Powerturk Radio and TV Award (the leading music TV and radio cahnnel). His 6 music videos for the first album has been watched by millions of people in Turkey and Europe. He performed over 100 concerts in Turkey, Germany, Austria and Belgium in 2006. His one of the hits “Seytan” has been relaesed officially also in Bulgaria and Greece by other top artists of their countries. The second album titled “Nobetci Asik” released in July 2007. The music directorship of this album is one of Turkeys leading arranger İskender Paydaş. He aimed to bring his composer and performer abilities in the foreground. Ozgun sold over one hundred and fifty copies if his second album and won the Golden Award of MUYAP (Turkish Phonographic Industry
Society) in 2008. He has 4 music videos for he second album being listed as the top of the tops in the main lists of Tv’s and radios, also at Billboard Turkey List.
