Prior to AhliFiqir, Daly was already known in Singapore as one of the movers of the ‘dikir’ music scene. He plays the rebana, is also a lead vocalist and a trainer of sort for several dikir groups in the republic.

Moving on to a genre that offers similarity in concept, he began to develop his rapid fire rap style and in 2002 he set up what is now known as AhliFiqir.
His other notable projects include Too Phat’’s Alhamdulillah, VE’s Pop Yeh-Yeh, TTC’s Two Lands and Vandal’s KLX
