Adam Zindani
Adam is the lead guitarist and co-writer for The Stereophonics, but started his career as a young teen as the lead guitarist for pop sensation Babylon Zoo who shot to stardom with the huge hit ‘Spaceman’. The Stereophonics are just about to release their long awaited ‘Best Of’ album entitled Decade In The sun which will be lead by two singles both co-written by Adam.
The band have had an incredible career to date with sales of over 20 million CDs around the world, 5 UK No.1 albums and 3 Billboard top 40s and numerous awards. The band will commence 2009 with a world tour and end the year with a new studio album.
When Adam is not fulfilling his ‘Phonics’ duties he is the lead singer and guitarist for the band Casino whose next album (produced by Foo Fighter’s producer Nick Raskulinecz) is due for release in 2009.
Casino remain the darlings of both Kerrang Radio and magazine and maintain loyal support from Dave Grohl and of course Kelly Jones. Adam also wrote the music for the film Global Heresy (aka Rock My World) starring Alicia Silverstone and Peter O’Toole and is currently working along side Mel Gibson (of Gibson guitars) to build a cross between a Les Paul and a banjo which will be called a Les Banjo.
